Here Come The Moon
Sea Monster
cd review by Vlad
First and foremost, Sea Monster is a sex. Always having exuded a certain sleazy sex- uality in their barroom, strip-club, garage version of punk ‘n’ roll. Once again, they do not disappoint with the newest CD Here Come The Moon. Bluesy songs that can get your girl all hot and bothered, and that my friends comes across, as rock-hard sexy. I can so see a sensual pole dance and rhyth- mic crawl across the floor accompanying Here Come The Moon, Cat Women of The Moon and Lonely Blue Boy. Don’t get me wrong, there is still enough for the tough leather clad motorcycle bad boy in all of us on this album, you want the classic Sea Monster straight ahead rocker, you get The Hammer of Thor, Over The Top and Shades of Gray. My personal favorites are the last three, Stand Alone, a live version of the legendary Sex God Chant and the deeply personal Barney.
Bottom line, get it. I can’t wait to see these songs in live action!
